On the morning of April 8, 2016, Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. was listed among the first group of "Demonstration Enterprises of Chinese Export Quality Safety" by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine（AQISQ）.
"Demonstration Enterprises of Chinese Export Quality Safety" is the highest honor of quality awarded by the Chinese government to Chinese export enterprises. This title shows the full recognition of the export enterprises which have assumed social responsibility, carried forward the spirit of quality and consciously ensured product quality. Since exporting its first batch of 10 units in 2001, Chery has been China's largest passenger vehicle exporter for 13 consecutive years, growing from an unknown enterprise into an enterprise with numerous honors, earning support and trust from nearly 1,200,000 overseas consumers. Over the past decade, Chery has kept improving products and services in the process of globalization, and taken root in localized development, earning wide recognition from overseas media and consumers. In the selection of 2015 China Top 20 Enterprises in Overseas Image--"the Belt and Road" directed by the State Council Information Office, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and the ASEAN-China Centre, organized by the China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration, Chery was ranked third as the highest-ranking equipment manufacturer and automaker, ahead of numerous Internet and home appliance giants such as Alibaba, Baidu, MiUi and Haier.
At the plaque awarding ceremony, the presenters spoke highly of Chery's contributions to the globalization of Chinese vehicles. Chery treasures this honor, and will continue to focus on product quality, develop quality products according to international standard processes, and further intensify the construction of its global marketing service system and improve its service capacity, so as to become a globally competitive international auto brand, said He Xiaoqing, deputy general manager of Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. and general manager of Chery International.
